Job Description

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 5 years of experience in program management. Your background includes technical expertise in Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, Hardware Engineering, or Silicon Engineering. You are comfortable managing cross-functional projects and have a strong understanding of the consumer hardware industry. You excel in communicating with both technical teams and executives, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned on project goals and timelines.

Your experience spans all phases of product development, from prototype to mass production and end of life. You are adept at identifying risks, managing project schedules, and driving impact through collaboration with relevant stakeholders. You understand that a problem isn’t truly solved until it’s resolved for all, and you are committed to building products that create opportunities for everyone.

Desirable

Experience in the consumer hardware industry is preferred, as is a proven track record of managing cross-functional or cross-team projects. You are familiar with the challenges and intricacies of hardware development and have a keen eye for detail when it comes to project metrics and performance indicators.

You will work closely with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, and manage project schedules. Your role will involve reviewing key metrics pertaining to programs, monitoring potential deviations, and defining corrective actions for critical deviations. You will build, maintain, and enhance business, operational, and management dashboards to track project progress and outcomes.

You will collaborate with cross-functional partners across the company, ensuring that all teams are aligned and working towards mutual goals. Your ability to communicate clearly and effectively will be crucial as you explain analyses and recommendations to executives while discussing technical trade-offs in product development with engineers. You will be responsible for driving impact and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within scope.
