Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience, along with 10 years of experience in program management or engineering leadership. Your background includes experience with site reliability engineering, developer operations, and developer experience metrics, making you well-equipped to handle the challenges of this role.

You have a proven track record of managing complex cross-functional or cross-team projects, demonstrating your ability to influence and collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries. Your understanding of systems reliability engineering at scale allows you to navigate the intricacies of product life-cycles in fast-moving environments.

You are comfortable explaining analyses and recommendations to executives while also discussing technical trade-offs in product development with engineers. Your problem-solving skills ensure that challenges are addressed comprehensively, benefiting all stakeholders involved.

What you'll do

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You will work closely with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your role will involve leveraging local expertise and strategic understanding of longer-term goals to drive excellence beyond your local portfolio.

You will be responsible for ongoing analysis and response, investment-level planning, and ensuring the successful completion of programs that span multiple engineering teams. Your leadership will help improve Google Cloud-wide reliability and supportability customer outcomes through strong partnerships and shared accountability.

You will collaborate with leadership and other program management organizations to discover, understand, and share best practices and efficiencies. Your ability to manage execution of programs will be crucial in achieving the goals set for the Google Cloud Platform Reliability team.
