Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience, along with 8 years of experience in program management. Your background includes at least 5 years in a leadership role, where you've successfully managed both component qualifications and supply chain resiliency programs within a supply chain organization. You are adept at managing new product introductions (NPI) for hardware manufacturing processes, showcasing your ability to navigate complex engineering challenges.
Your experience extends to managing cross-functional team projects, where you have engaged directly in planning, manufacturing operations, logistics, material management, and supply chain design and strategy. You thrive in environments that require a big-picture perspective while being able to dive into the unique engineering challenges that arise daily. Your technical expertise allows you to lead multi-disciplinary engineering projects effectively.
What you'll do
As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex engineering projects, ensuring that all requirements are planned with internal customers and that projects are ushered through the entire lifecycle. You will manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate them clearly to stakeholders. Your role will involve coordinating with supply chain managers to identify new manufacturing supply chain requirements and collaborating with product operations to enable scalable manufacturing processes that keep pace with new technology and industry standards.
You will be responsible for providing guidance and leadership across the product operations and CSCO hardware/NPI portfolio, focusing on product portfolio supply resiliency. Your ability to explain analyses and recommendations to executives, as well as discuss technical trade-offs in product development with engineers, will be crucial to your success in this role.
