Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience. With 5 years of experience in Web Tech, Data/Big Data, Machine Learning, Systems Administration, Networking, or Kubernetes, you are well-versed in the technical landscape. You possess strong coding skills in general-purpose languages such as Python, Java, Go, C, or C++, allowing you to read and debug code effectively. Your fluency in both Japanese and English enables you to communicate seamlessly with diverse stakeholders.

You have a solid background in SQL database administration and are familiar with open-source software communities. Your experience extends to cloud networking solutions and distributed computing, making you adept at navigating complex technical environments. You have worked with data analytics, warehousing, ETL development, and data science, showcasing your ability to handle Big Data applications. Additionally, your familiarity with recommendation engines, data pipelines, and distributed machine learning enhances your problem-solving capabilities.

You thrive in collaborative settings, having worked with cross-functional teams to address customer needs. Your knowledge of web application development, HTTP/RESTful API troubleshooting, and database design further complements your technical skill set. You are comfortable working in a fluid environment, adapting to changing requirements and collaborating across functions to deliver optimal solutions.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be part of the Google Cloud team, helping companies, schools, and government entities transition to Google products. You will solve technical issues and demonstrate how our products can enhance collaboration for businesses. Your responsibilities will include understanding customer issues, advocating for their needs with internal teams, and driving production readiness. You will work closely with customers on their production deployments, resolving issues to ensure product availability and readiness.

You will engage with a cross-functional team of web developers and systems administrators, contributing to a global support network that ensures 24-hour customer assistance. This may require you to work non-standard hours or shifts to meet customer demands. Your role will involve troubleshooting technical challenges, providing solutions, and ensuring that customers are satisfied with their Google product experience.
