Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience. With 6 years of experience writing code in one or more general-purpose programming languages such as C++, Java, Python, or Go, you are well-versed in the technical aspects of customer solutions. Your experience with Linux/Unix systems allows you to debug issues across the hardware/software boundary on enterprise-grade server infrastructure effectively.
You excel in troubleshooting for customer needs and triaging technical issues across the stack, including hardware faults, networking, virtualization, kernel drivers, firmware, and performance. Your strong communication skills and attention to detail enable you to act as a consultant and subject matter expert for internal stakeholders and customer organizations.
You have experience working with distributed systems and are knowledgeable about common solutions, design patterns, or best practices. Your background includes working with Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) computing hardware, including Graphics Processing Units (GPUs) or other accelerators. You are familiar with containerization and orchestration technologies like Kubernetes or Slurm, and you have experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, understanding the AI/ML training and inference lifecycle.
Desirable
Experience with additional programming languages or frameworks is a plus, as is familiarity with cloud computing environments. You thrive in collaborative settings and enjoy working closely with cross-functional teams, including web developers and systems administrators.
What you'll do
In this role, you will work closely with customers to listen to their needs and swiftly problem-solve technical issues, demonstrating how Google products can enhance productivity, collaboration, and innovation. You will collaborate with multiple Product and Engineering teams to find ways to improve the product and interact with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams to drive production.
Your responsibilities will include acting as a consultant for internal stakeholders and customer organizations, resolving deployment and operational obstacles in AI infrastructure environments. You will leverage your technical expertise to diagnose issues and provide solutions that meet customer requirements. You will also contribute to improving the overall customer experience by identifying areas for enhancement in product offerings.
