Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Robotics Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. With at least 2 years of experience in program management and product development, you are well-versed in managing cross-functional projects. Your background includes working with electro-mechanical products, and you have a strong understanding of high-volume and high-precision consumer electronics. You are comfortable collaborating with various stakeholders and can effectively communicate technical concepts to both engineers and executives.
You have a minimum of 7 years of experience in process or product development, particularly with robotic manipulators and material handling systems. Your expertise extends to manufacturing process development and fixture validation, and you are proficient in CAD systems and tolerance analysis. You believe that a problem isnβt truly solved until itβs addressed comprehensively, and you are committed to creating opportunities for everyone through your work.
Desirable
Experience with automation solutions and implementation schedules is a plus. Familiarity with factory and site acceptance testing activities will enhance your ability to oversee projects effectively. You are eager to contribute to the design, manufacture, and delivery of innovative fitness wearables, and you thrive in environments that challenge your technical skills and project management capabilities.
What you'll do
As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from inception to completion.
