Gopuff is seeking a Site Manager to lead the Field Operations team in Nashville. You'll oversee facility operations and manage a team of Shift Leaders and Driver Partners. This role requires 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment.
Job Description
Who you are
You have 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment, ideally in retail, grocery, military, or restaurant settings. Your leadership skills shine as you manage a blended workforce of W2 and 1099 employees, ensuring that everyone is aligned and motivated to deliver exceptional customer experiences. You possess strong written and verbal communication skills, which help you effectively resolve conflicts and engage your team. Your proficiency in computer usage, including email and Google Suite, allows you to navigate daily operations smoothly. You thrive in ever-changing environments and have a proven track record of being a change agent, improving processes and efficiencies wherever possible.
You are available during peak hours of operation, which may include evenings and weekends, demonstrating your commitment to the success of the facility. Your physical capabilities allow you to stand, bend, reach, and walk during shifts, and you can lift up to 49 pounds when necessary. You are not just a manager; you are a leader who inspires your team to excel and adapt to challenges.
What you'll do
As a Site Manager at Gopuff, you will be accountable for all aspects of facility operations, planning, and directing the local team to ensure that customer satisfaction remains a top priority. You will develop and implement action plans aimed at improving performance, providing direction and guidance on executing company programs. Your role will involve overseeing operational and quality assurance reviews, ensuring that all processes align with Gopuff's standards. You will create and implement plans to enhance safety, culture, and financial performance within the facility, making data-driven decisions to guide your team.
You will lead a local team of Shift Leaders and Field Operations Associates, fostering a collaborative environment where everyone feels valued and engaged. Your ability to communicate effectively will be crucial as you work with independent Driver Partners, ensuring that they are well-informed and equipped to deliver a perfect experience for customers. You will also be responsible for monitoring performance metrics and making adjustments as needed to meet operational goals.
