You are physically capable of handling the demands of the job, including lifting and moving products safely. You are also adaptable, able to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
What you'll do
As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play a crucial role in the operations team by picking and packing items for dispatch to customers. You will receive and unpack pallets of products from vendors, ensuring that the physical inventory count matches the purchase order and resolving any discrepancies. Managing inventory and re-shelving canceled orders will be part of your daily tasks, along with cleaning and organizing the sales floor and overall facility. You will also be responsible for managing waste and spoilage through strict compliance with FIFO practices. Your role will involve contacting customers for substituted or out-of-stock items and handling products that may contain tobacco, nicotine, or alcohol. You will work in freezer locations periodically throughout your shifts and will need to be capable of walking several flights of steps during the day.
