Gopuff is hiring an Operations Associate to join their operations team in Arlington, TX. You'll be responsible for various operational tasks including picking, packing, and managing inventory. This role requires a positive attitude and the ability to work flexible hours.

Who you are
You are a driven individual with a positive attitude and enthusiasm for challenges. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are ready to take on a variety of operational responsibilities. You have the ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. You are physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting up to 49 pounds throughout your shifts.
You possess a general working knowledge of basic web-based software applications, such as Google G-Suite, which will assist you in managing tasks efficiently. You are detail-oriented and can ensure that inventory counts match purchase orders while resolving any discrepancies that may arise. You are also comfortable handling products that may contain tobacco, nicotine, and/or alcohol.
What you'll do
As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play an essential role in the operations team by picking and packing items for dispatch to customers. You will receive and unpack pallets of products from vendors, ensuring that the physical inventory count matches the purchase order or invoice. You will manage inventory and re-shelving of canceled orders, maintaining a clean and organized sales floor and overall facility.
You will also be responsible for managing waste and spoilage through strict compliance with FIFO practices. Your role will involve contacting customers for substituted or out-of-stock items and handling, scanning, and moving products in a safe and well-organized manner. You will use carts, pallet jacks, dollies, and other equipment to move products efficiently. Periodically, you may work in freezer locations throughout your shifts, requiring adaptability and resilience.
