Who you are
You are a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working as part of a team. You possess a strong work ethic and are eager to take on various operational responsibilities. Your positive attitude and enthusiasm for challenges make you a great fit for the Gopuff team. You are capable of lifting up to 49 pounds and are comfortable standing and walking for the duration of your shift. You have a general working knowledge of basic web-based software applications, which will help you in managing inventory and other tasks.
What you'll do
As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that customers receive their everyday essentials efficiently. Your responsibilities will include picking and packing items for dispatch to customers, receiving and unpacking pallets of products from vendors, and ensuring that the physical inventory count matches purchase orders. You will also manage inventory and re-shelving of canceled orders, clean and organize the sales floor, and manage waste and spoilage through strict compliance with FIFO practices. Additionally, you will handle customer communications regarding substituted or out-of-stock items and ensure that products are moved safely and organized. You will work in various locations, including freezer areas, and will be expected to maintain a high level of organization and safety throughout your shifts.
