You have the ability to work a fluid schedule and are available during peak shifts, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to the team's success.
You possess a general working knowledge of basic web-based software applications, which aids in your efficiency and effectiveness in the role. You are physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting up to 49 pounds throughout your shifts, ensuring that you can handle the demands of the job.
What you'll do
As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play an essential role in the operations team by picking and packing items for dispatch to customers. You will receive and unpack pallets of products from vendors, ensuring that the physical inventory count matches the purchase order and resolving any discrepancies that arise. Your responsibilities will also include managing inventory and re-shelving canceled orders, maintaining a clean and organized sales floor, and managing waste and spoilage through strict compliance with FIFO practices.
You will be responsible for contacting customers regarding substituted or out-of-stock items, ensuring that communication is clear and effective. Handling, scanning, and moving products in a safe and organized manner will be a key part of your daily tasks. You will also work in freezer locations periodically throughout your shifts, demonstrating your adaptability to different working conditions.
