Your positive attitude and perseverance make you a valuable team member. You are capable of managing inventory and ensuring that the sales floor is clean and organized. You understand the importance of compliance with FIFO practices and are willing to handle products that may contain tobacco, nicotine, or alcohol. You are physically fit and able to stand, walk, and lift items during your shifts.

Desirable

While not required, having a general working knowledge of basic web-based software applications, such as Google G-Suite, would be beneficial. You are flexible with your schedule and can work during peak shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. You are comfortable using equipment like carts, pallet jacks, and dollies to move products efficiently.

What you'll do

As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play a crucial role in the operations team by picking and packing items for dispatch to customers. You will receive and unpack pallets of products from vendors, ensuring that the physical inventory count matches the purchase order or invoice. In case of discrepancies, you will resolve them promptly. You will also manage inventory and re-shelving of canceled orders, ensuring that the sales floor is clean and organized. Your responsibilities will include managing waste and spoilage through strict compliance with FIFO practices, contacting customers for substituted or out-of-stock items, and handling products safely and efficiently.

You will be expected to stand, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, and walk during your shifts, demonstrating your physical capability to perform the job. You will also prepare quality beverages and food menu items as needed. Your role will require you to work in freezer locations periodically throughout your shifts, showcasing your adaptability to different working conditions.
