Your perseverance and attention to detail will help you excel in managing inventory and ensuring compliance with operational practices.
You understand the importance of teamwork and communication, as you will be working closely with site leaders and partner drivers. Your ability to handle physical tasks, such as lifting and moving products, is essential for success in this role. You are adaptable and willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet the demands of the operation.
What you'll do
As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play a crucial role in the operations team. Your primary responsibilities will include picking and packing items for dispatch to customers, ensuring that orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. You will receive and unpack pallets of products from vendors, verifying that the physical inventory matches purchase orders and resolving any discrepancies that arise.
In addition to managing inventory, you will be responsible for cleaning and organizing the sales floor and overall facility. You will also handle waste and spoilage, adhering to strict compliance with FIFO practices. Your role will require you to contact customers regarding substituted or out-of-stock items, ensuring that they are informed and satisfied with their orders.
You will utilize various equipment, such as carts, pallet jacks, and dollies, to move products safely and efficiently. Your ability to stand, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, and walk during shifts will be essential, as you may need to work in freezer locations periodically. You will also prepare quality beverages and food menu items as part of your responsibilities.
