You are physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting items throughout your shift, demonstrating your commitment to the role. You are adaptable and can handle a fluid schedule, including peak shifts during mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Desirable
While not required, having a general working knowledge of basic web-based software applications, such as Google G-Suite, is a plus. You are open to learning and growing within the company, and you enjoy working in a team-oriented environment.
What you'll do
As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the site. Your primary responsibilities will include picking and packing items for dispatch to customers, receiving and unpacking pallets of products from vendors, and ensuring that the physical inventory count matches purchase orders. You will manage inventory and re-shelving of canceled orders, maintaining a clean and organized sales floor and overall facility. Additionally, you will handle waste and spoilage through strict compliance with FIFO practices and contact customers regarding substituted or out-of-stock items. You will also be responsible for safely handling, scanning, and moving products, using equipment such as carts, pallet jacks, and dollies. Your role may require you to work in freezer locations periodically throughout your shifts, and you should be prepared to walk several flights of steps as needed.
