Gopuff is hiring an Operations Associate to join their operations team in Charlotte. You'll be responsible for picking, packing, and managing inventory while ensuring a smooth operation. This role requires a positive attitude and the ability to work flexible hours.
Job Description
Who you are
You are someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys hands-on work. You have a positive attitude and are ready to take on challenges with enthusiasm. You understand the importance of teamwork and are eager to contribute to the success of the operations team. You are capable of lifting up to 49 pounds and are comfortable standing and walking for the duration of your shift. You are flexible with your schedule and can work during peak shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Desirable
While not required, having a general working knowledge of basic web-based software applications, such as Google G-Suite, is a plus. You are adaptable and can manage a variety of tasks, from picking and packing to inventory management and customer communication.
What you'll do
As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that customers receive their everyday essentials efficiently. Your responsibilities will include picking and packing items for dispatch, receiving and unpacking pallets of products, and managing inventory to ensure accuracy. You will also be responsible for cleaning and organizing the sales floor and overall facility, as well as managing waste and spoilage through strict compliance with FIFO practices. You will need to communicate with customers regarding substituted or out-of-stock items and handle products safely and efficiently. Your role may also involve working in freezer locations periodically throughout your shifts.
