You possess a strong work ethic and are ready to take on various operational responsibilities, including picking and packing items for dispatch. Your enthusiasm for challenges and ability to work well with others make you a great fit for the Gopuff team.
You understand the importance of maintaining inventory accuracy and are comfortable handling products that may contain tobacco, nicotine, or alcohol. Your attention to detail ensures that you can manage discrepancies effectively and keep the sales floor organized. You are physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting items throughout your shift, demonstrating your commitment to the role.
What you'll do
As an Operations Associate, you will report directly to a Site Leader and play a crucial role in the operations team. Your primary responsibilities will include picking and packing items for customer dispatch, receiving and unpacking pallets from vendors, and ensuring that inventory counts match purchase orders. You will also manage the re-shelving of canceled orders and maintain a clean and organized facility.
You will be responsible for managing waste and spoilage by adhering to FIFO practices, ensuring that products are handled safely and efficiently. Your role will require you to communicate with customers regarding substituted or out-of-stock items, providing excellent service and support.
You will work in various environments, including freezer locations, and must be prepared to adapt to different shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Your ability to work a fluid schedule will be essential in meeting the demands of the operation.
