You understand the importance of teamwork and communication, as you will be collaborating closely with site leaders and partner drivers.

You have a strong work ethic and are willing to stand and walk for the duration of your assigned shifts. You are physically capable of lifting up to 49 pounds and are prepared to work in various conditions, including freezer locations. Your commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace is evident in your approach to managing inventory and ensuring compliance with FIFO practices. You are also open to working flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet the demands of the role.

What you'll do

As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play a crucial role in the operations team by picking and packing items for dispatch to customers. You will receive and unpack pallets of products from vendors, ensuring that the physical inventory count matches the purchase order and resolving any discrepancies that may arise. Your responsibilities will also include managing inventory and re-shelving canceled orders, as well as cleaning and organizing the sales floor and overall facility.

You will handle, scan, and move products in a safe and well-organized manner, ensuring that all operational standards are met. Your role will require you to contact customers regarding substituted or out-of-stock items, demonstrating your commitment to customer service. You will also manage waste and spoilage through strict compliance with FIFO practices, contributing to the overall efficiency of the operations team.

In addition to your operational responsibilities, you will be expected to work closely with partner drivers to ensure timely deliveries and maintain a smooth workflow. Your ability to adapt to changing circumstances and work collaboratively with others will be essential to your success in this role.
