You have a general working knowledge of basic web-based software applications, such as Google G-Suite, which helps you manage tasks effectively. You are physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting items up to 49 pounds throughout your shifts, ensuring that you can handle the demands of the role.

You understand the importance of inventory management and are committed to maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Your attention to detail allows you to accurately receive and unpack pallets of products, ensuring that inventory counts match purchase orders. You are also comfortable working with various equipment, including carts and pallet jacks, to move products safely and efficiently.

What you'll do

As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play a crucial role in the operations team by picking and packing items for dispatch to customers. You will be responsible for receiving and unpacking pallets of products from vendors, ensuring that the physical inventory count matches the purchase order or invoice, and resolving any discrepancies that may arise. Your role will also involve managing inventory and re-shelving canceled orders, which is essential for maintaining an organized sales floor and overall facility.

You will need to manage waste and spoilage through strict compliance with FIFO practices, ensuring that products are rotated properly. Additionally, you will contact customers regarding substituted or out-of-stock items, providing excellent customer service throughout the process. Your ability to handle, scan, and move products in a safe and organized manner will be key to your success in this role.

You will be expected to work a fluid schedule, being available during peak shifts, which may include mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays. This flexibility is important as you will be part of a team that operates around the clock to meet customer needs. Your commitment to teamwork and collaboration will help Gopuff reshape the world of retail.
