You are comfortable working with a variety of tasks, from picking and packing items to managing inventory and ensuring compliance with operational standards.
You have the ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. You are physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting up to 49 pounds throughout your shifts. Your attention to detail ensures that you can accurately manage inventory and resolve discrepancies effectively.
What you'll do
As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play a crucial role in the operations team. Your primary responsibilities will include picking and packing items for dispatch to customers, receiving and unpacking pallets of products from vendors, and ensuring that the physical inventory count matches purchase orders. You will also manage the re-shelving of canceled orders and maintain a clean and organized sales floor.
You will be responsible for managing waste and spoilage through strict compliance with FIFO practices. Additionally, you will handle, scan, and move products in a safe and organized manner, using equipment such as carts, pallet jacks, and dollies. Your role may also involve preparing quality beverages and food menu items, ensuring that customers receive their orders accurately and promptly.
