What you'll do
As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play a crucial role in the operations team. Your primary responsibilities will include picking and packing items for dispatch to customers, ensuring that all products are handled safely and efficiently. You will receive and unpack pallets of products from vendors, verifying that the physical inventory matches the purchase orders. Additionally, you will manage inventory and re-shelving of canceled orders, keeping the sales floor organized and clean. You will also be responsible for managing waste and spoilage, adhering to FIFO practices to maintain product quality. Your role will require you to communicate with customers regarding substituted or out-of-stock items, ensuring a high level of customer service. You will work with various equipment, including carts and pallet jacks, to move products safely within the facility. Your ability to adapt to different tasks and work in various locations, including freezer areas, will be essential to your success in this position.
