What you'll do

As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play a crucial role in the operations team. Your primary responsibilities will include picking and packing items for dispatch to customers, ensuring that orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. You will receive and unpack pallets of products from vendors, verifying that the physical inventory count matches the purchase order and resolving any discrepancies. Managing inventory and re-shelving canceled orders will also be part of your daily tasks.

You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized sales floor and overall facility, which is vital for operational efficiency. Additionally, you will manage waste and spoilage by adhering to strict FIFO practices. Your role will involve contacting customers regarding substituted or out-of-stock items, ensuring that they are informed and satisfied with their orders. You will handle, scan, and move products safely and in an organized manner, utilizing equipment such as carts, pallet jacks, and dollies.

Working in freezer locations periodically throughout your shifts will be required, and you should be prepared to walk several flights of steps as needed. Your ability to stand, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, and walk during shifts will be essential to meet the physical demands of the job. You will also have the opportunity to prepare quality beverages and food menu items, adding variety to your responsibilities.
