Who you are
You are a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working as part of a team. You bring a positive attitude and a willingness to take on various operational responsibilities, including picking and packing items for dispatch. Your attention to detail ensures that inventory counts are accurate and discrepancies are resolved efficiently.
You are comfortable working with various equipment such as pallet jacks and carts, and you understand the importance of safety and organization in the workplace. You are capable of lifting up to 49 pounds and can stand and walk for the duration of your assigned shift. Flexibility is key, as you are available to work during peak shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
What you'll do
As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that customers receive their everyday essentials promptly. Your responsibilities will include picking and packing items for dispatch, receiving and unpacking pallets of products from vendors, and managing inventory effectively. You will also be responsible for cleaning and organizing the sales floor and overall facility, ensuring compliance with FIFO practices to manage waste and spoilage.
You will interact with customers to handle substitutions or out-of-stock items, ensuring a positive customer experience. Your role may require you to work in freezer locations periodically, and you will need to be comfortable with the physical demands of the job, including standing, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, reaching, and walking throughout your shifts. You will also prepare quality beverages and food menu items as needed.
