You are a driven individual with a positive attitude and a willingness to take on challenges. As an Operations Associate, you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to contribute to the success of the team. You understand the importance of attention to detail and are committed to maintaining high operational standards. Your ability to work collaboratively with others, including partner drivers and site leaders, is essential to your role. You are physically capable of performing tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting up to 49 pounds throughout your shift.
Desirable
While not required, having a general working knowledge of basic web-based software applications, such as Google G-Suite, will be beneficial in your role. You are flexible and can adapt to a fluid schedule, making yourself available during peak shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
What you'll do
As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that customers receive their everyday essentials efficiently. Your responsibilities will include picking and packing items for dispatch to customers, receiving and unpacking pallets of products from vendors, and ensuring that the physical inventory count matches purchase orders. You will manage inventory and re-shelving of canceled orders while maintaining a clean and organized sales floor and overall facility. Additionally, you will handle waste and spoilage through strict compliance with FIFO practices and contact customers regarding substituted or out-of-stock items. Your role will also involve using equipment such as carts, pallet jacks, and dollies to move products safely and efficiently.
