You are comfortable handling physical tasks, including lifting up to 49 pounds and standing for extended periods. Your attention to detail ensures that you manage inventory accurately and resolve discrepancies effectively. You understand the importance of maintaining a clean and organized workspace, which contributes to the overall efficiency of the operations.

Desirable

While not required, having a general working knowledge of basic web-based software applications, such as Google G-Suite, will be beneficial in this role. You are flexible with your schedule and can work during peak shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

What you'll do

As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that customers receive their everyday essentials promptly. Your primary responsibilities will include picking and packing items for dispatch to customers, receiving and unpacking pallets of products from vendors, and ensuring that the physical inventory count matches purchase orders. You will also manage inventory and re-shelving of canceled orders, ensuring that the sales floor and overall facility remain clean and organized.

You will be responsible for managing waste and spoilage through strict compliance with FIFO practices. Additionally, you will contact customers regarding substituted or out-of-stock items, ensuring clear communication and customer satisfaction. Your ability to handle, scan, and move products safely and efficiently will be essential in maintaining a well-organized operation.

You will utilize equipment such as carts, pallet jacks, and dollies to move products effectively. Your role may also require you to work in freezer locations periodically throughout your shifts, showcasing your adaptability and willingness to take on various tasks as needed.
