Your ability to work a fluid schedule and be available during peak shifts is essential for success in this role. You are comfortable standing and walking for the duration of your shift and can lift up to 49 pounds. You have a general working knowledge of basic web-based software applications, which will help you in your daily tasks.

What you'll do

As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play a crucial role in the operations team. Your primary responsibilities will include picking and packing items for dispatch to customers, receiving and unpacking pallets of products from vendors, and ensuring that the physical inventory count matches the purchase order. You will manage inventory and re-shelving of canceled orders while maintaining a clean and organized sales floor. Additionally, you will handle waste and spoilage through strict compliance with FIFO practices and contact customers regarding substituted or out-of-stock items. You will also be responsible for safely handling, scanning, and moving products, which may include items that contain tobacco, nicotine, or alcohol. Your role may require you to work in freezer locations periodically throughout your shifts, and you should be prepared to walk several flights of steps as needed.
