Gopuff is hiring an Operations Associate to join their operations team in Lafayette, IN. You'll be responsible for various operations tasks including picking, packing, and managing inventory. This role requires a positive attitude and the ability to work flexible hours.
Job Description
Who you are
You are someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys hands-on work. You have a positive attitude and are ready to take on challenges with enthusiasm. Your drive and perseverance make you an ideal fit for the operations team at Gopuff. You are capable of lifting up to 49 pounds and can stand and walk for the duration of your assigned shift. You are flexible with your schedule and can work during peak shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Desirable
While not required, having a general working knowledge of basic web-based software applications, such as Google G-Suite, will be beneficial in this role. You are comfortable working in various environments, including freezer locations, and can manage tasks that require physical movement, such as pushing, pulling, and bending.
What you'll do
As an Operations Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that Gopuff's operations run smoothly. Your primary responsibilities will include picking and packing items for dispatch to customers, receiving and unpacking pallets of products from vendors, and ensuring that the physical inventory count matches purchase orders. You will also manage inventory and re-shelving of canceled orders, clean and organize the sales floor, and manage waste and spoilage through strict compliance with FIFO practices. Additionally, you will handle customer communications regarding substituted or out-of-stock items and ensure that products are moved safely and efficiently within the facility.
