You are a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to take on various operational responsibilities. You possess a positive attitude and are ready to tackle challenges head-on, whether it's picking and packing items or managing inventory. Your ability to work well with others and communicate effectively makes you a valuable team member. You are comfortable standing and walking for extended periods and can lift up to 49 pounds, ensuring that you can handle the physical demands of the role. You are also adaptable, willing to work flexible hours that may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
What you'll do
As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play a crucial role in the operations team by picking and packing items for dispatch to customers. You will receive and unpack pallets of products from vendors, ensuring that the physical inventory count matches the purchase order and resolving any discrepancies. Managing inventory and re-shelving canceled orders will be part of your daily tasks, along with cleaning and organizing the sales floor and overall facility. You will also be responsible for managing waste and spoilage through strict compliance with FIFO practices. Your role will require you to handle, scan, and move products safely and efficiently, using equipment such as carts, pallet jacks, and dollies. Additionally, you will contact customers regarding substituted or out-of-stock items, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
