You are a motivated individual with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to take on various operational responsibilities. Your ability to work well under pressure and your attention to detail make you an ideal fit for the role. You are comfortable standing and walking for extended periods and can lift up to 49 pounds. You possess a general working knowledge of basic web-based software applications, which will aid you in your daily tasks.
Desirable
While not required, having experience in a similar operational role or familiarity with inventory management systems would be beneficial. Flexibility in your schedule to accommodate peak shifts is preferred, as is a willingness to work during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
What you'll do
As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive their everyday essentials efficiently. Your primary responsibilities will include picking and packing items for dispatch, receiving and unpacking pallets of products, and managing inventory. You will ensure that the physical inventory count matches purchase orders and resolve any discrepancies that arise. Additionally, you will maintain a clean and organized sales floor and overall facility, adhering to strict compliance with FIFO practices to manage waste and spoilage effectively.
You will also be responsible for contacting customers regarding substituted or out-of-stock items, handling and moving products safely, and using equipment such as carts and pallet jacks. Your role may require you to work in freezer locations periodically, and you should be prepared to walk several flights of steps throughout your shifts. Overall, your contributions will help reshape the world of retail at Gopuff.
