You are a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to take on the challenges of an Operations Associate role. You possess a strong work ethic and are ready to contribute positively to the team at Gopuff. Your enthusiasm for the retail industry and commitment to excellence will help you succeed in this position. You are comfortable working with various tools and equipment, and you understand the importance of maintaining a clean and organized workspace. You are physically capable of performing tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting up to 49 pounds throughout your shift.
What you'll do
As an Operations Associate, you will be responsible for picking and packing items for dispatch to customers, ensuring that orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. You will receive and unpack pallets of products from vendors, verifying that the physical inventory matches the purchase orders and resolving any discrepancies. Managing inventory and re-shelving canceled orders will be part of your daily tasks, along with cleaning and organizing the sales floor and overall facility. You will also handle waste and spoilage by adhering to FIFO practices, ensuring that products are rotated properly. Your role will involve contacting customers regarding substituted or out-of-stock items, and you will be expected to handle, scan, and move products safely and efficiently. Additionally, you may work in freezer locations periodically and will need to be available during peak shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
