You are physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting items throughout your shift, ensuring that you can handle the demands of the role. You are adaptable and can work a fluid schedule, including peak shifts during mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Desirable
While not required, having a general working knowledge of basic web-based software applications, such as Google G-Suite, would be beneficial. You are open to learning and growing within the role, and you enjoy working in a team-oriented environment.
What you'll do
As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play a crucial role in the operations team by picking and packing items for dispatch to customers. You will receive and unpack pallets of products from vendors, ensuring that the physical inventory count matches the purchase order and resolving any discrepancies. Managing inventory and re-shelving canceled orders will be part of your daily tasks, as well as cleaning and organizing the sales floor and overall facility. You will also be responsible for managing waste and spoilage through strict compliance with FIFO practices. Your role will involve contacting customers for substituted or out-of-stock items and handling, scanning, and moving products in a safe and organized manner. You will use equipment such as carts, pallet jacks, and dollies to move products efficiently. Additionally, you may work in freezer locations periodically throughout your shifts, showcasing your versatility and commitment to the job.
