You possess a willingness to learn and adapt to a fluid schedule, which may include working during peak shifts across different times of the day. Your ability to stand and walk for extended periods, as well as lift up to 49 pounds, is essential for this role. You are comfortable working in various environments, including freezer locations, and handling products that may contain tobacco, nicotine, or alcohol.
What you'll do
As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that customers receive their everyday essentials efficiently. Your primary responsibilities will include picking and packing items for dispatch, receiving and unpacking pallets of products from vendors, and managing inventory to ensure accuracy. You will also be responsible for cleaning and organizing the sales floor and overall facility, as well as managing waste and spoilage through strict compliance with FIFO practices.
In addition to these tasks, you will contact customers regarding substituted or out-of-stock items, handle and move products safely, and utilize equipment such as carts, pallet jacks, and dollies to facilitate product movement. Your role will require you to be proactive in resolving discrepancies in inventory counts and ensuring that all operational standards are met.
