You are a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working as part of a team. You have a positive attitude and are eager to take on challenges, whether it's picking and packing items or managing inventory. You understand the importance of attention to detail and are committed to ensuring that operations run smoothly. You are physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting products throughout your shift, and you are comfortable working in various conditions, including freezer locations. You are flexible with your schedule and can adapt to peak shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
What you'll do
As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play a crucial role in the operations team by picking and packing items for dispatch to customers. You will receive and unpack pallets of products from vendors, ensuring that the physical inventory count matches the purchase order and resolving any discrepancies. You will manage inventory and re-shelving of canceled orders while keeping the sales floor and overall facility clean and organized. Additionally, you will handle waste and spoilage through strict compliance with FIFO practices and contact customers regarding substituted or out-of-stock items. Your role will also involve using equipment such as carts, pallet jacks, and dollies to move products safely and efficiently.
