You are physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting products throughout your shift, ensuring that operations run smoothly. You are adaptable and can work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. You understand the importance of maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and you are committed to following safety protocols.
What you'll do
As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play a crucial role in the operations team. Your primary responsibilities will include picking and packing items for dispatch to customers, ensuring that orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. You will receive and unpack pallets of products from vendors, verifying that the physical inventory matches the purchase orders and resolving any discrepancies. Managing inventory and re-shelving canceled orders will be part of your daily tasks, along with cleaning and organizing the sales floor and overall facility. You will also be responsible for managing waste and spoilage through strict compliance with FIFO practices. Additionally, you will handle, scan, and move products safely and efficiently, using equipment such as carts and pallet jacks. Your role may require you to work in freezer locations periodically, and you will need to be comfortable handling products that may contain tobacco, nicotine, or alcohol.
