Overview

Gopuff is hiring a Distribution Center Lead to oversee operations at their Richmond facility. You'll manage a team of Operations Associates, ensuring safety and efficiency in delivery processes. This role requires strong leadership skills and a focus on operational excellence.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a high school diploma and experience in a leadership role within a distribution or operations environment. You understand the importance of safety regulations and have a track record of managing teams effectively. You are detail-oriented and can evaluate performance metrics to improve operational efficiency. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable handling various operational challenges. You possess strong communication skills, allowing you to effectively resolve issues with customers and clients. You are proactive in identifying safety hazards and implementing solutions to ensure a safe working environment.

What you'll do

As the Distribution Center Lead, you will oversee the execution of all facility operations and delivery processes during your shift. You will ensure that subsequent shifts are set up for success by improving key metrics such as staffing levels and shift performance. You will be the point of contact for managing exceptions and resolving any issues that arise. Training Operations Associates on standard processes and implementing process changes will be a key part of your responsibilities. You will monitor compliance with human resource policies, asset protection, and safety controls, ensuring the safety of both people and products. Additionally, you will ensure that work areas remain clean and well-equipped, identifying and addressing safety hazards within the work area.
