You have 5+ years of backend engineering experience, particularly in building scalable systems that handle large volumes of data. Your expertise includes working with observability tools and you understand the intricacies of monitoring and logging in distributed environments.

You possess deep knowledge of Grafana and its ecosystem, including Prometheus, Loki, and Tempo. You have experience in designing and implementing backend services that are robust and efficient, ensuring high availability and performance.

You are comfortable working in a remote-first environment and thrive in a culture that values transparency, autonomy, and collaboration. You are proactive in your approach and enjoy tackling complex challenges that require innovative solutions.

Desirable

What you'll do

As a Senior Backend Engineer at Grafana, you will be responsible for enhancing the Grafana Cloud platform, focusing on metrics, logs, and traces. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement features that improve the observability experience for users.
