You possess a strong understanding of embedded Linux systems — your background includes working with various hardware platforms and developing software that meets stringent performance and reliability standards. You are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams, providing technical guidance, and mentoring junior engineers to foster their growth.
Your problem-solving skills are top-notch, and you thrive in environments where you can architect and implement continuous improvements to test infrastructure — you understand the importance of maintaining high-quality standards in the validation process. What you'll do
As a Staff Embedded SW/FW Engineer at Graphcore, you will play a critical role in the post-silicon validation of cutting-edge AI chips — your responsibilities will include functionally validating new silicon and ensuring it meets performance specifications. You will work closely with various teams to bring first silicon to life, providing regular updates on project status and progress to program management.
You will lead and mentor other engineers within the Post-Silicon Validation team, sharing your knowledge and experience to help them succeed — your leadership will be instrumental in fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture. You will also have the opportunity to architect and drive the implementation of continuous improvements to the test infrastructure, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the validation process.
Your role will involve hands-on work with hardware and software, requiring you to troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during validation — you will be at the forefront of ensuring that Graphcore's AI computing systems meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
