Who you are

You have extensive experience in hardware engineering, particularly in the bring-up and characterisation of silicon devices. Your background includes a deep understanding of embedded systems and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Architecture, Silicon Engineering, and Hardware Engineering.

You are proficient in programming languages such as C and C++, and you have experience with Python for automation and testing purposes. Your familiarity with Docker and other containerization technologies enables you to streamline development processes and enhance testing efficiency.

You possess strong analytical skills, allowing you to interpret complex data and integrate results from various teams to ensure optimal performance of silicon devices under all conditions. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance are evident in your work.

What you'll do

In this role, you will create and execute bring-up and characterisation plans for Graphcore's cutting-edge silicon devices. You will focus on both automated and manual testing of systems in the lab and data centre, ensuring that devices operate correctly across all conditions.

You will collaborate closely with teams across the company, including Architecture and Operations, to integrate data and provide comprehensive insights into device performance. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of AI computing systems, contributing to Graphcore's mission of driving AI innovation.

You will be responsible for developing detailed testing protocols and methodologies, documenting results, and presenting findings to stakeholders. Your ability to communicate complex technical information clearly will be essential in this role.
