Who you are

You have a strong background in engineering, particularly in the areas of silicon devices and system platforms. With your experience, you understand the complexities involved in bring-up and characterisation processes, ensuring that products operate correctly under all conditions. You are comfortable working in a collaborative environment, engaging with teams across architecture, silicon engineering, hardware engineering, and operations. Your attention to detail and analytical skills enable you to develop comprehensive testing plans that integrate data from various sources.

You possess a deep understanding of advanced semiconductor technologies and are passionate about contributing to the future of AI computing. Your ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams allows you to translate technical requirements into actionable plans. What you'll do

In this role, you will create and execute bring-up and characterisation plans for Graphcore's cutting-edge silicon devices. You will focus on both automated and manual testing of systems in the lab and data centre, ensuring that the devices meet performance standards. Collaborating closely with architecture and hardware engineering teams, you will integrate results from various tests to provide a comprehensive overview of device functionality.

You will be responsible for developing detailed testing protocols that assess the operational capabilities of silicon devices under various conditions. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and reliability of AI computing systems, contributing to Graphcore's mission of driving AI innovation. You will also engage in continuous improvement efforts, refining testing methodologies based on findings and feedback from team members.
