Who you are
You have a strong background in hardware engineering, particularly in the bring-up and characterisation of silicon devices. Your experience includes working with cross-functional teams to develop and execute testing plans that ensure product reliability and performance. You are detail-oriented and possess a deep understanding of silicon and platform products, which allows you to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues effectively.
You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with diverse teams, including Architecture, Silicon Engineering, and Operations. Your communication skills enable you to articulate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You are committed to fostering an inclusive work environment and understand the importance of diverse perspectives in driving innovation.
What you'll do
In this role, you will create and execute comprehensive bring-up and characterisation plans for Graphcore's advanced silicon devices. You will conduct both automated and manual testing in lab and datacentre environments, ensuring that the devices operate correctly under all conditions. Your findings will be integrated with data from other teams to provide a holistic view of product performance.
You will collaborate closely with various engineering teams to refine testing methodologies and improve product quality. Your insights will directly influence the design and development of future silicon processors and high-speed blade systems. You will also play a key role in the establishment of the new AI Engineering Campus in Austin, contributing to Graphcore's mission of advancing AI technology.
