Who you are
You have a strong background in robotics engineering, with experience in implementing and deploying robotic systems for various applications. Your expertise includes working with CAD software to design work cell layouts and understanding manufacturing processes to optimize robotic solutions. You are proficient in programming languages such as C, C++, and Python, which you use to develop and troubleshoot robotic systems. You have a collaborative mindset, working closely with mechanical engineers and other stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
You possess excellent problem-solving skills and can adapt designs based on customer needs and technical requirements. Your experience includes setting up and testing robotic systems, ensuring they meet performance standards and customer expectations. You are detail-oriented, capable of creating comprehensive documentation and manuals for robotic systems, which aids in customer training and support. You understand the importance of rigorous system testing and are committed to delivering high-quality solutions.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the implementation and deployment of smart robotic assistants for surface treatment applications. You will collaborate with customers to understand their manufacturing processes, taking measurements and documenting existing workflows. Your responsibilities will include designing work cell layouts, making modifications to robotic end-of-arm tools, and overseeing the fabrication and assembly of parts. You will also be involved in setting up and testing robotic systems, troubleshooting control components, and ensuring that all systems operate smoothly.
You will lead proof of concepts for customers, demonstrating the capabilities of GrayMatter technologies and solutions. Your role will require you to create educational content and documentation to support customer success and enhance their experience with robotic solutions. You will work closely with product and engineering teams to continuously improve customer support programs and drive innovation in robotic applications. Your contributions will be vital in ensuring that customers achieve their desired outcomes with our robotic systems.
