You have 5+ years of experience in product marketing, ideally within the tech or digital space — you've successfully launched products and developed go-to-market strategies that resonate with users. Your analytical mindset allows you to synthesize insights from various sources to inform product development and marketing initiatives.
You possess strong collaboration skills, working effectively with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Design, and Data Analytics — you understand the importance of aligning marketing strategies with product goals to enhance user satisfaction and retention.
Your strategic influence is evident in your ability to shape product and business strategies — you have a proven track record of driving engagement and monetization through thoughtful marketing campaigns. You are comfortable setting goals and metrics for success, ensuring that all initiatives are executed flawlessly.
You are adept at problem-solving, tackling complex challenges with a strategic approach — you create thoughtful recommendations that guide product marketing efforts and enhance the overall user experience.
Desirable
Experience in the LGBTQ+ community or related markets is a plus — you understand the unique needs and preferences of diverse user bases, which can inform your marketing strategies.
What you'll do
As the Senior Product Marketing Manager at Grindr, you will lead the development and execution of comprehensive go-to-market strategies for our subscription products and services. Your role will involve crafting compelling messaging and positioning that resonates with our target audience, ensuring that our marketing efforts effectively drive user awareness and adoption.
You will collaborate closely with the Product and Engineering teams to shape the core user experience, leveraging insights from user research and data analytics to inform product development and marketing campaigns. Your strategic influence will be crucial in guiding the direction of our product offerings and enhancing user engagement.
You will set clear goals and metrics for success, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure that all marketing initiatives are executed seamlessly. Your ability to synthesize insights from diverse sources will inform your recommendations and help shape our marketing strategies.
In this hybrid role, you will be required to work in the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays, fostering collaboration and connection with your team members. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to Grindr's mission of creating a more inclusive and engaging platform for our users.
What we offer
Grindr offers a competitive salary range for this role, with base pay dependent on various factors including experience and location. The Bay Area base pay range is $142,000—$167,000 USD, while the Los Angeles base pay range is $127,000—$150,000 USD. In addition to a competitive salary, this role is eligible for equity, benefits, and a company bonus program.
