Who you are
You are an entry-level professional eager to dive into the world of business development within the institutional investment industry. You possess a strong desire to learn and grow, with a focus on building relationships and understanding client needs. Your proactive nature drives you to conduct outbound prospecting and qualify new business leads effectively. You are comfortable collaborating with senior sales team members and are motivated to meet designated prospecting and meeting targets through various lead generation efforts.
You have a keen interest in the financial sector, particularly in working with major financial institutions, asset managers, private equity firms, and hedge funds. You are detail-oriented and capable of assisting in the development of marketing materials and client presentations that effectively communicate Guidepoint's value proposition. Your ability to manage client feedback calls will contribute to identifying growth and cross-selling opportunities.
What you'll do
In this role, you will conduct outbound prospecting to qualify new business leads and help source new business opportunities. You will partner with senior sales team members to schedule meetings with new prospects and set up meetings with existing strategic accounts. Your responsibilities will include meeting designated prospecting and meeting targets through cold calling and other lead generation efforts. You will assist in developing marketing materials and client presentations that showcase how Guidepoint helps clients stay informed and make better business decisions. Additionally, you will develop a working knowledge of primary research methods, the competitive landscape, and the institutional investment industry, which will be crucial for your success in this role.
