Who you are

You have over 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master, guiding teams through agile methodologies and ensuring successful project delivery. Your expertise in facilitating ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives has helped teams maintain focus and achieve their goals. You understand how to estimate features and capabilities, supporting teams in making realistic commitments.

Your collaborative nature allows you to work effectively with external teams to address any blocking issues, ensuring that Scrum teams remain on track. You are skilled in representing Scrum teams at various ceremonies, including Scrum of Scrums, and you have a strong grasp of setting OKRs linked to epics in JIRA, ensuring a healthy backlog.

You are passionate about establishing a standard set of agile metrics across multiple teams to enhance performance in quality, predictability, flow, and velocity. Mentoring and motivating team members is second nature to you, and you take responsibility for facilitating retrospectives to identify areas for improvement.

Desirable

Experience in a technology-focused environment, particularly in data and AI, would be a plus. Familiarity with advanced analytics and responsible AI development can enhance your contributions to the team.

What you'll do

In your role as a Scrum Master at Guidepoint, you will facilitate all ceremonies and planning events for multiple teams, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. You will guide teams in understanding how to estimate features and capabilities, supporting them in making realistic commitments. Your collaboration with external teams will be crucial in addressing any blocking issues, helping Scrum teams to remain focused on their goals.

You will represent Scrum teams at appropriate ceremonies, including Scrum of Scrums, and work closely with Product Owners to set OKRs linked to epics in JIRA. Establishing a standard set of agile metrics across multiple teams will be part of your responsibilities, aimed at improving performance in quality, predictability, flow, and velocity.

Mentoring, motivating, and driving process improvements with team members will be key aspects of your role. You will facilitate retrospectives to help identify areas of opportunity for improvement and take responsibility for the actions identified during these sessions.
