Who you are

You have 5-8 years of total experience, with at least 3 years dedicated to the role of Scrum Master, successfully managing 2 or more teams. Your certifications, such as CSM or PSM, are mandatory, and having SAFe certification is a plus. You excel in facilitating Scrum ceremonies, backlog grooming, and retrospectives, ensuring that Agile principles are effectively implemented within your teams.

Your proficiency in tools like Jira and Confluence allows you to track sprint metrics and report on team progress efficiently. You possess strong communication skills, enabling you to engage effectively with team members and stakeholders alike. Your experience may also include exposure to analytics projects and client-facing delivery roles, which enhances your ability to understand project requirements and deliver results.

What you'll do

As a Scrum Master at Sigmoid, you will lead the Agile transformation within your teams, ensuring that Scrum practices are adhered to and continuously improved. You will facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, fostering an environment of collaboration and transparency. Your role will involve coaching team members on Agile methodologies and helping them to self-organize and take ownership of their work.

You will work closely with product owners to manage the product backlog, ensuring that it is well-groomed and prioritized according to business needs. Your ability to analyze sprint metrics will help identify areas for improvement, and you will implement strategies to enhance team performance and productivity. Additionally, you will serve as a point of contact for stakeholders, providing updates on team progress and addressing any impediments that may arise.
