You have a strong background in product design, with at least 5 years of experience creating user-centered designs that solve complex problems. Your portfolio showcases your ability to translate user needs into intuitive and engaging experiences. You are proficient in design tools such as Figma, and you have a solid understanding of design systems and best practices. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that design solutions align with business goals and user needs. You are passionate about mental health and are motivated by the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in this space. You understand the importance of trust in healthcare and are committed to designing solutions that uphold this value.
Desirable
Experience in the healthcare industry or with insurance-related products is a plus. Familiarity with user research methodologies and A/B testing will help you make data-driven design decisions. You are comfortable presenting your design ideas to stakeholders and can articulate your design rationale clearly. You are open to feedback and continuously seek to improve your design skills and knowledge.
What you'll do
As a Staff Product Designer at Headway, you will lead the design efforts for a new pod focused on building the infrastructure that supports trust between patients, providers, and payers. You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other designers to create user-friendly interfaces that simplify the complexities of mental healthcare. Your role will involve conducting user research to gather insights that inform your design decisions, as well as creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs. You will advocate for user needs throughout the product development process, ensuring that the final product meets both user expectations and business objectives. You will also contribute to the development of design systems and guidelines that promote consistency across the platform.
