Who you are
You have a proven track record in operations management, ideally within the transportation or logistics sector. Your experience includes managing teams and optimizing processes to enhance performance and efficiency. You possess strong leadership skills, enabling you to guide middle managers and their teams effectively. You are adept at setting priorities and ensuring that operational goals are met. Your communication skills are excellent, allowing you to foster a collaborative and accountable work environment. You are comfortable making quick decisions and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced setting. You understand the importance of performance metrics and are skilled at tracking and analyzing KPIs to drive improvements.
What you'll do
As the Directeur des opérations, you will lead all local operations in Abidjan, working closely with the general management team. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the field team. You will oversee the management and coordination of middle managers, providing them with the necessary training and support to grow in their roles. You will organize the work of the field teams, set priorities, and monitor action plans to ensure operational success. You will also be responsible for tracking operational KPIs, ensuring that the team meets performance standards. Your role will involve fostering communication and cohesion among team members, promoting a culture of accountability and support. You will play a key role in the company's growth phase, helping to establish operational standards and drive performance improvements.
