Who you are
You are a highly organized and proactive Accountant with experience in managing financial operations. You understand the importance of precision in accounting and have a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner. You thrive in a collaborative environment, acting as the primary point of contact for cross-functional communication with third-party vendors and service providers. Your ability to manage payroll accounting and cash flow activities makes you an essential part of the finance team.
You have a solid understanding of general ledger management and are skilled in conducting monthly balance sheet reconciliations to maintain financial integrity. Your familiarity with Polish tax regulations allows you to prepare and deliver data packages for VAT and CIT declarations, ensuring compliance. You are comfortable providing flexible support for ad hoc reporting requests from management and assisting in year-end audits.
What you'll do
In this role, you will take ownership of the day-to-day financial operations of HelloFresh's Polish entity. You will lead daily cash management activities and perform meticulous bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting. Managing the payroll process will be a key responsibility, where you will work closely with HR and external providers to ensure accurate accounting of payroll entries. You will maintain the general ledger, ensuring that all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
Collaboration is essential in this role, as you will act as the primary point of contact for cross-functional communication with third-party vendors and service providers. You will conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure full transparency and accuracy of the financial position. Additionally, you will prepare and deliver data packages for VAT and CIT declarations to ensure compliance with Polish tax regulations. Managing intercompany recharges and reconciliations within the global HelloFresh Group will also be part of your responsibilities.
