Who you are
You are an experienced Executive Sous Chef with a strong background in overseeing kitchen operations in a mass production environment. You have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards in food preparation. Your leadership skills enable you to effectively manage and develop a team of Sous Chefs and kitchen staff, ensuring that every meal produced meets consistent quality and safety standards.
You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to provide clear guidance and feedback to your team. Your experience includes training and coaching kitchen staff across various culinary activities, from preparation to cooking and assembly. You are dedicated to continuous improvement and are always looking for ways to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
What you'll do
In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring that all food prepared meets the highest quality standards. You will manage the production process during the newly launched second shift, focusing on product quality, food safety, and team morale. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing process controls, monitoring performance metrics, and conducting root cause analyses to drive continuous improvement.
You will work closely with the Executive Chef and Recipe Developers to enhance product quality and internal processes. Regular progress reports will be provided to the Executive Chef, and you will be responsible for maintaining the upkeep of kitchen equipment and inventory. Your leadership will play a crucial role in delivering consistently outstanding products to customers while rapidly scaling the new business.
What we offer
HelloFresh offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $90,000 CAD. You will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing high-quality meal solutions to customers. This position provides an opportunity to make a significant impact in a growing company and to develop your culinary leadership skills in a supportive environment.
