Job Description
Who you are
You are a culinary production expert with a strong background in overseeing kitchen operations. Your attention to detail and creative eye allow you to maintain the integrity and presentation of meals produced in large volumes. You have experience leading teams to execute recipes with repeatability and quality.
You possess hands-on knowledge of food safety regulations, including HACCP, FSMA, SQF, and USDA standards. Your ability to develop and implement process controls in a kitchen environment ensures that every meal leaving the kitchen meets premium taste and appearance standards.
You are detail-oriented and proactive in addressing product quality issues and customer complaints. Your leadership skills enable you to train and guide kitchen staff effectively, ensuring that all team members are aligned with the company's gold standards of food quality and safety.
What you'll do
As the Executive Sous Chef, you will oversee product quality and food safety in a high-volume kitchen. You will ensure the execution of new recipes while training and supervising kitchen staff to implement these recipes effectively. Your role will involve developing and implementing process controls to enhance kitchen operations and product quality.
You will validate the taste, appearance, and performance of every meal produced, continuously improving processes with the support of the Corporate Executive Chef and R&D chefs. You will also address and eliminate any product quality issues or customer complaints that arise from meal production.
In addition to supervising food production personnel, you will assist with food production tasks as needed, ensuring that quality and cost standards are consistently met. Your leadership will ensure proper staffing for maximum productivity and high standards of food safety and quality.
