Job Description
Who you are
You are a culinary production expert with a strong background in managing kitchen operations. You have a creative eye and are detail-oriented, ensuring that every meal produced meets high standards of quality and presentation. Your leadership skills enable you to guide a team effectively, ensuring repeatability in execution and adherence to food safety standards.
You possess hands-on knowledge of HACCP, FSMA, SQF, and USDA regulations, which you leverage to maintain optimal food safety and quality in a mass production kitchen. Your experience includes developing and implementing process controls that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of kitchen operations.
What you'll do
In this role, you will oversee product quality and food safety in a high-volume kitchen, ensuring that every meal leaving the kitchen meets premium taste and appearance standards. You will be responsible for the execution of new recipes, providing training and oversight to kitchen staff to implement these recipes successfully. Continuous improvement of product quality and process steps will be a key focus, supported by collaboration with the Corporate Executive Chef and R&D chefs.
You will address and eliminate product quality issues and customer complaints that arise from meal production, ensuring that the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. Additionally, you will supervise food production personnel, assist with food production tasks as needed, and ensure that staffing levels are optimized for maximum productivity.
